As the calendar turns to 2025, DragonChiffchaff reflects on an extraordinary year filled with achievements and milestones that have solidified our place in the TTRPG community. From launching new books to unveiling our first satirical board game, 2024 was a year of innovation and connection. Here’s a look back at what we accomplished and an exciting glimpse into our plans for 2025.

2024: Highlights and Milestones

New TTRPG Books

In June, we proudly launched three new TTRPG supplements:

  • Plant Power (June 14, 2024): This resource introduces plant-based subclasses, spells, and campaign ideas, perfect for bringing nature-inspired storytelling into your games.

  • Like a Candle in the Mind (June 18, 2024): A thoughtful exploration of mental resilience and challenges, this book offers unique mechanics to add depth and drama to your campaigns.

  • Oozing Wisdom (June 21, 2024): Dive into the mysterious and slimy world of oozes with new creatures, subclasses, and dynamic adventure hooks.

In addition to these new titles, we updated all of our English-language books and created special bundles with a 40% discount to make our content more accessible. Notably, our French-language book Ça va barder received a major update on August 25, 2024, adding new content and enhancing its mechanics.

Milestones Achieved

  • Downloads: Our books reached significant milestones, with over 700 downloads by May 1 and crossing the 800 mark by December 4, 2024.

  • Community Engagement: Titles like Crafting Stars: Winks of Liberty surpassed 100 downloads, a testament to the community’s love for our creative offerings.

Board Game Launch: Expat!

On April 2, 2024, we launched Expat!, our first board game. This satirical, strategy-based game challenges players to navigate life in contemporary France with humor and wit. Available as a print-it-yourself product, Expat! reflects our commitment to blending social commentary with engaging gameplay.

2025: Looking Ahead

New Adventures and Resources

In 2025, we plan to expand our offerings with:

  • New TTRPG Supplements: Expect fresh content designed to spark imagination and deepen storytelling.

  • French Book Translations: To align with the quality of our English versions, we’ll be enhancing and translating our French-language titles.

  • Expat! International Edition: We’re adapting Expat! for global audiences, ensuring its humor and strategy resonate beyond French borders.

Innovative Collaborations

While we’re currently a solo endeavor, DragonChiffchaff aspires to emulate the success of collaborative projects like Critical Role. In 2025, we’ll explore partnerships that enhance our creative ecosystem, including potential ventures into animation via KinoSpring.

Our commitment to collaboration remains strong. In 2025, we’ll focus on:
