This does not prevent her from being gentle, but she tends to talk a lot to justify her actions and impose the values of her goddess. She claims that the goddess has sent her a commandment to follow a group of adventurers until the next sign. Many in the temple consider her either a liar or on the trail of madness. And those who know her well know that she is sincere. If she had passed the tests, she would certainly be a leader, riding a tiger, dispensing arrows and advice as the situation demanded. But she has neglected the martial side of her training.
